Coming when called is one of the most important things you will ever need to teach your dog. And the quality of your Recall is very closely connected to your Relationship with your dog.
This course will look at how to improve your dog’s recall skills through some simple training games and by improving the relationship and partnership you have with your dog. It will also cover a little of the theory behind the training, and will look at how best to utilise management tools such as long lines, as well as how to train a recall to a whistle (whistle not included in course cost, but we do have some available for sale).
The course is suitable for any type of dog of any age.
Please note that there is no ‘quick fix’ cure to longstanding recall problems, and that this one short course will not provide an instant solution. However it will give you the tools and knowledge to train your dog for future success, and with a little hard work success can be achieved.
This course will be held at our indoor training venue in Shoscombe, near Peasedown St John.
The 4 week course costs £28 per dog and includes handout sheets.

This course is repeatable, and you may find the training games such fun that you wish to do it more than once! There will also be regular ‘out and about’ workshops offered from Spring 2012 so that you can practice working with your dog in ‘real life’ situations.
